Airworthiness Office Specialist (m/f/d)
A full-time position is available as of January 1, 2027, in the Airworthiness Office.
Your tasks:
- Planning, monitoring, and coordinating all internal tasks related to type testing in consultation with the respective project managers
- Developing verification programs in accordance with certification regulations CS 23, 25, 27, and 29 (or comparable FAR and JAR regulations) as well as equipment manufacturing regulations
- Technical interpretation of manufacturing regulations
- Participation in the development of test programs for the purpose of providing supporting documentation
- Management of flight tests for aircraft certification
- Verification of supporting documentation for compliance with airworthiness requirements
Collaboration and support in the management of the design organization
Your profile:
- A completed engineering degree with a focus on aerospace, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, many years of experience as a technician or in a comparable role
- Extensive experience in certification processes and compliance documentation
- Strong technical expertise in one of the following areas: electrical systems, avionics, radio communications, or aircraft construction
- Experience in aviation (including a pilot’s license, involvement in an aviation sports club, or similar) is desirable
- Good to very good written and spoken German and English skills
- A dedicated individual with the ability and interest to clearly communicate complex legal regulations and requirements
- A high degree of self-motivation and self-organization, as well as strong communication skills
- Attention to detail, well-organized, team-oriented, and a hands-on approach
In the interest of pay transparency, we are providing the salary range for this position in advance: It ranges from €62,000.00 to €72,300.00. The specific compensation will be based on your professional experience and qualifications.
