From climate research at the North and South Poles to the detection of oil spills in the world’s oceans: we support a wide range of applications in the fields of environmental observation and monitoring. The unique sensors of our subsidiary Optimare enable remote sensing of maritime oil spills.

We also invest in a wide range of research projects to drive forward technological innovation for current and future generations.
One example of this is the PlastikObs+ project, in which Optimare is working with project partners on the future detection of plastic waste in the sea.
Transparency regarding our activities
Sustainability Report 2024Our first sustainability report provides an insight into our activities in the areas of the environment, social issues and corporate governance. It is based on the European Union’s VSME standard and presents relevant key figures and developments in a transparent manner.
