Design Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of aircraft and mechanical design and structural analysis
The CC-K department is currently seeking to fill a full-time position as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of aircraft and mechanical design and structural analysis.
Your tasks:
- Creating new and modified designs using CAD
- Preparing manufacturing documentation—from 3D design to final assembly and component drawings
- Technical analysis and evaluation of functional requirements
- Technical support for manufacturing and aircraft modification
- Planning and conducting acceptance tests (ground and flight tests)
- Creation of master data, bill of materials, and product-related documentation
- Preparation of documents for aircraft certification
Project management tasks, including product and customer support
Your profile:
- Completed engineering degree (Dipl. Ing./M.Sc.) with a focus on aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
- At least 8 years of professional experience
- Solid experience: in the use of CAD software (Creo), ANSYS, AFGROW, MS Office, and product data management (Pro.File); knowledge of configuration management; design experience (>5 years) in an aviation organization in accordance with EASA Part 21J and EN9100; experience as a “Certification Verification Engineer” in accordance with EASA
- Technical expertise: Finite Element Method; Damage Tolerance Analysis (DTA) and Fatigue Analysis; Design Engineering; Aircraft Construction; Aircraft Certification in accordance with EASA CS 23, 25, 27, and 29
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Soft Skills: Quick learner; team-oriented; resilient, self-reliant, flexible, hands-on approach
