As a leading provider of solutions for airborne special missions, we are pleased to announce the official introduction of the „AeroForce® 380“ Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) for maritime surveillance at the ILA Berlin Air Show 2024. The AeroForce® 380, which is currently being developed in partnership with South Africa-based Milkor, represents a major step forward in airborne maritime operations.
Originally announced at the Paris Air Show 2023, where Aerodata and Milkor solidified their commitment to cooperation with a Memorandum of Understanding, the AeroForce® 380 is poised to redefine the standards of maritime surveillance technology. Based on the proven Milkor 380 UAS platform, this Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAS is tailored specifically for maritime surveillance and coast guard missions.
What sets the AeroForce® 380 apart is its impressive adaptability. With MALE capabilities boasting a service ceiling of 30,000 ft, it seamlessly operates in the Low Altitude Long Endurance (LALE) segment, effectively covering altitudes below 10,000 ft - an essential feature for typical maritime surveillance missions. Additionally, the UAS showcases an outstanding endurance of up to 35 hours, ensuring extended mission coverage and heightened operational efficiency. With a Maximum Take-Off Weight of 1,300 kg and the capability to carry mission-specific payloads, the AeroForce® 380 has the potential to revolutionise surveillance aircraft fleets worldwide. It‘s worth noting that Aerodata‘s contribution includes state-of-the-art mission system technology, complemented by maritime surveillance sensors from its subsidiary, Optimare Systems GmbH. This integrated approach guarantees optimal performance and support, ensuring the AeroForce® 380 remains at the forefront of maritime surveillance technology.
Interested individuals are encouraged to explore the capabilities of the AeroForce® 380 at our booth 340 (hall 2) during the upcoming ILA Berlin Air Show 2024, scheduled to take place from June 05 to 09, 2024. Discover how this innovative UAS can enhance maritime security and coast guard operations.
