At the beginning of the new year, Aerodata received an order from AeroPearl Pty Ltd, Brisbane, Australia, to modernize the AD-AFIS-270 automatic flight inspection system. Two AD-AFIS-270 have been in service installed in two Beechcraft KingAir 350i aircraft since 2012 and have accumulated approximately 10,000 flight hours during this period. The goal of this modernization is to upgrade these AFIS to the latest generation computer technology. In addition, both AFIS will receive a new multi-constellation GNSS receiver. The customized AeroFIS software will be upgraded with all new features for data processing, visualization of measurement results and control of the AFIS components.
AeroPearl will be ready for many more years of operations in Australia and neighboring areas with the upgraded AD-AFIS-270.
