Europe and the Indo-Pacific face similar challenges. Hybrid maritime threats endanger not only trade routes but also critical infrastructure.
Our CEO, Neset Tükenmez, discussed how shared security interests can give rise to resilient partnerships at the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) in Seoul. As part of the panel discussion ‘Partners from Connected Hemispheres: Asia, Europe and Common Security Interests in the Indo-Pacific’, he spoke alongside international representatives from business and politics about maritime security and maritime domain awareness.
After all, security begins with a reliable situational picture. Only those who recognise developments on and beneath the water’s surface at an early stage can take effective action.
As a company with a long-standing presence in Asia, we are delighted to contribute our experience to this important dialogue and to work alongside partners on solutions for the maritime challenges of tomorrow.
We would like to thank the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA) for organising the event and all the panellists for the engaging discussion and valuable exchange of views.
