As part of the DLR Summer School, we were delighted to welcome students from all over Germany to our site in Braunschweig.
During their visit, the participants gained fascinating insights into our organisation and our projects in the fields of flight inspection and airborne surveillance. A particular focus was on our AeroFIS® Flybot – a small, unmanned aerial vehicle based on a multicopter and equipped with measuring instruments. The AeroFIS® Flybot enables aviation navigation systems to be tested in a simple and cost-effective manner. The event was rounded off with a guided tour of our aircraft hangars, where the students were given a glimpse behind the scenes of our day-to-day work.
Direct interaction with enthusiastic students is always something special for us. Thank you very much for your visit and the interesting discussions! We hope we have given you some exciting insights into the practical side of the aviation industry and wish you continued success on your journey into aviation.
