In collaboration with our trading partner JAC (Japan Aerospace Corporation), acting as a subcontractor to NEC Corporation, we are involved in the delivery of a flight inspection drone to the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB). The unmanned aircraft system is to be used for inspecting and calibrating instrument landing systems (ILS) and precision approach path indicators (PAPI).
For this purpose, we are supplying our state-of-the-art AeroFIS® Flybot software. In addition, NEC will organize the training opportunity of the software operation for JCAB at the end of the project, and we will support the initiative of the training.
