How can we protect Europe’s critical infrastructure while strengthening our technological sovereignty? This question took the spotlight during the visit of Lena Düpont, Member of the European Parliament, who we recently welcomed to our site along with a delegation led by Maximilian Pohler, Chairman of the CDU Braunschweig.
During the visit, an in-depth discussion took place on the protection of critical infrastructure as well as the political framework for effective and sovereign security solutions in Europe. In this context, we presented our solutions for flight inspection and airborne surveillance and demonstrated how these contribute to the security and resilience of critical infrastructure both today and in the future.
Additionally, the importance of strong regional innovation ecosystems was discussed. The environment at Research Airport Braunschweig highlights how high-performing innovation clusters can make a significant contribution to Europe’s technological leadership.
Once again, the visit emphasised the value of a continuous and constructive dialogue between politics and industry. We appreciate the visit and the valuable exchange.
