We are delighted that the Armed Forces of Malta have signed a contract for their own ground simulator training device with a complete simulation of sensor technology and generation of typical scenarios. This training station, contains a cockpit simulation including an AeroMission® Workstation whereby the entire crew, the cockpit and the cabin, can thus be trained on the ground with the help of various training tasks. This allows the operator to learn how to use the mission system and also train targeted communication between the pilot and the operator.
In addition a ground information management system is supplied. It provides mission data storage capabilities for data received from different mission assets, a comprehensive mission data analytics and visualisation engine.
As the prime contractor, we supply the complete ground information management and training system. This includes the simulation system, which we developed in cooperation with Cirrus RTP. The training courses were designed together with the English company JD2E. The project is co-financed by the European Union’s Border Management and Visa Instrument Funds.
