Hans J. Stahl will retire on December 31, 2022, after 18 years on the executive board of Aerodata AG. He will be succeeded by Neset Tükenmez, the current COO of Aerodata.
In his role, Hans Stahl has had a lasting impact on the positive development of the company. Today, Aerodata is the world leader in flight inspection systems and airborne oil monitoring systems, as well as a leading provider of special mission airborne solutions. With foresight, Hans Stahl positioned the company successfully for the future.

Hans J. Stahl looks back on a successful career in the aviation business. After graduating with a MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of the Armed Forces in Munich/Germany, he first served as an officer in the military for twelve years. He then moved to Airbus in 1992 where he took on various management roles in engineering and program management. Among others, he was Chief Engineer in charge of an aircraft program and was involved in the development of the A380.
In 2001, Mr. Stahl took over the management of KID Systeme GmbH, a manufacturer of cabin management systems for commercial aircraft. Finally, at the end of 2004, he was appointed CEO of Aerodata AG and has led the company successfully ever since. He will continue to work as a consultant for the company.
“Over the past decade, we have succeeded in acquiring and completing numerous projects as prime contractor in international competitions. The key to this achievement was certainly our ability to master the entire process chain from development to aircraft conversion and final certification.
I wish my successor all the best in managing the Aerodata Group and continuing its sustainable growth path“, Hans Stahl summed up.
Neset Tükenmez will assume overall responsibility as CEO of Aerodata AG as of January 1, 2023. Mr. Tükenmez joined Aerodata’s executive board in February 2022 as COO, bringing with him extensive experience of over 34 years in the aerospace industry. He worked for aircraft operators, aircraft manufacturers and for sensor and system suppliers. In his prior career, Neset Tükenmez has held various leadership roles, including at Northrop Grumman, Fairchild-Dornier and LTU.

Furthermore I thank Hans Stahl for his long-term commitment to the Aerodata Group and wish him all the best as well as good health for the new phase of his life“, said Mr. Tükenmez.
