Our world is changing - climate change, population growth, social inequality and wars require more and more airborne surveillance for the international community and its authorities.
As the protection of people and the environment is particularly important to us, we offer specially equipped aircraft for a wide range of airborne surveillance tasks. Among other things, they ensure detection and tracking over longer ranges, support the control of land and sea borders and meet the need for information superiority.

Maritime surveillance
AeroMission® has its roots in supporting maritime surveillance. The range of tasks includes the detection of activities such as illegal fishing, people and drug smuggling and waste dumping as well as the collection of evidence for legal prosecution.
A specifically adapted version of the system can also be used for electronic reconnaissance or the search for submarines.

Land surveillance
AeroMission® can be flexibly configured for missions over land, e.g. for border protection. The combination of radar, other sensors and systems allows effective deployment at any time of day or night under all weather conditions.

Search & Rescue
For Search & Rescue missions the surveillance configuration is supplemented by the capability to air-drop life rafts and other equipment to assist ships and aircraft in distress.

Environmental protection
The Aerodata Group manufactures and develops special sensors for the detection and classification of marine pollution. These are also part of the modular AeroMission® concept. This allows our customers to equip their platforms specifically for this task or to combine environmental protection and monitoring capabilities. Overall, we offer a very wide range of sensors, making us unique worldwide.

OctoPod
Our all-in-one PodOur all-rounder includes up to eight specific sensors. It was developed together with our subsidiary Optimare for multi-sensor-based surveillance missions. Particularly advantageous are the minimization of the space required for installations in the cabin and the low effort required to modify the aircraft.
