Head of Product Management (m/f/d) in Bremerhaven
OPTIMARE Systems GmbH is seeking to fill a full-time, permanent position as Head of Product Management (m/f/d) in Bremerhaven, to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the entire product lifecycle: from strategy, roadmapping, and prioritization to market launch and continuous optimization
- Management of all administrative aspects, including governance, budget responsibility, resource planning, and schedule and quality management
- Development and implementation of sustainable product strategies with a focus on business success, customer-centricity, and scalability
- Market and competitive analysis, identification of areas for action and innovation drivers
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (including Development, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, and the Executive Board) to ensure market-oriented product solutions
- Pragmatic process optimization and operational excellence
- Development of a future- and market-oriented product vision and consistent translation into operational implementation
Mentoring and development of the product team, as well as fostering a performance-oriented, inclusive culture
Your profile:
- Successful completion of a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification; relevant certifications in product management are a plus
- Several years of experience in product management, ideally in a leadership role
- Proficiency in product and project management as well as sensor and device technology, preferably in the aviation industry
- Strong ability to develop holistic strategies and implement them operationally
- Strong market and customer focus, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making
- Leadership experience, coaching skills, and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid organizational structures
- High adaptability to change, a passion for innovation, and a forward-thinking mindset
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Industry knowledge in the aviation sector would be an advantage
