Electronics Development Engineer (m/f/d) in Bremerhaven
OPTIMARE Systems GmbH has a permanent, full-time position available in hardware development as of September 1, 2025, for an electronics development engineer (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Development and creation of circuit boards (including circuit diagrams, layouts, and parts lists)
- Development of devices and sensors for installation in aircraft for coastal and maritime surveillance
- Design implementation from system architecture (block diagram) to circuit board and device level
- Creation of construction and testing instructions as well as product-related documentation
- Support for product development and product maintenance of Optimare sensors
- Planning and execution of environmental and acceptance tests
- Technical support for devices throughout their product life cycle
Project management tasks through to product/customer support
Your profile:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering with a focus on electronics/communications/information and communication technology or comparable
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant technical environment
- Experience in the development and creation of circuit boards (circuit diagrams, layouts, and parts lists)
- Experience in the use of PCB design software (e.g., Pulsonix, Altium)
- Initial experience in an aerospace development field (1-2 years) desirable
- Background knowledge in the aerospace sector an advantage
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Knowledge of configuration management
- Willingness to travel
- Confident use of standard IT equipment
- Strong hands-on mentality
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
