Design Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of aircraft/mechanical design and strength analysis
In the design department, we have a permanent full-time position available as soon as possible for a design engineer (m/f/d) in the field of aircraft/mechanical design and strength analysis (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Creating new and modified designs using CAD
- Creating production documents – from 3D design drafts to finished assembly/component drawings
- Performing static and dynamic strength analyses, fatigue analyses, and predictions (DTA)
- Preparing/reviewing strength reports and verification documents
- Providing technical support for manufacturing and aircraft conversion
- Preparing master data, parts lists, and product documentation
- Preparing documents for aircraft certification
Project management tasks, including product/customer support
Your profile:
- Completed engineering degree (Dipl. Ing./ M.Sc) with a focus on aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering Several years of
- professional experience (at least 8 years)
- In-depth experience: in the use of CAD software (Creo), ANSYS, AFGROW, MS Office, and product data management; knowledge of configuration management; Design experience (>5 years) in an aviation company in accordance with EASA Part 21J and EN9100; knowledge as a “Certification Verification Engineer” in accordance with EASA
- Expertise: Finite element method; damage tolerance (DTA) and fatigue analyses; design engineering; aircraft construction; Aircraft certification according to EASA CS 23, 25, 27, and 29
- Good written and spoken English skills
