HeliFIS®

Helicopters are used to validate the approach and departure procedures of helipads and to determine how well the navigation equipment works. This is due to the fact that aircraft cannot follow the steep approach angles and tight turn radii of helicopter procedures.

Our HeliFIS® is a flight inspection system that has been specially developed for such operations. It is based on the reliable hardware modules and software of our AeroFIS®, which has been successfully used in flight inspection aircraft. The conceptual operation of the HeliFIS® does not differ from the operation of the AeroFIS®. Recording data and databases are compatible. This makes our HeliFIS® an efficient solution for helicopter applications.
